I dischi più attesi del 2025, la lista dei 150 (in continuo aggiornamento)
Eccoci sbarcati nel 2025, anno nuovo musica nuova, ed ecco una lista di circa 150 album che dovrebbero uscire quest’anno; ovviamente va sottolineato che questa è una lista assolutamente parziale.
Partiamo dalla band più discussa ed attesa dell’anno passato, ovvero The Cure.
Come più volte annunciato su queste pagine, The Cure hanno in cantiere un sacco di idee.
“Songs of a Lost World” è uscito da pochi mesi, ed ecco che Robert Smith annuncia l’uscita di un nuovo album per l’estate, anzi, ne annuncia due, più il suo come solista.
U2: si parla già da un anno di questo fantomatico album che viene descritto da The Egde come un lavoro dai contorni “folk irlandese fantascientifico”, The Edge afferma inoltre che: “ci stiamo lavorando da tempo, dovrebbe uscire nel 2025”.
Versante Massive Attack: dopo una disputa legale con case discografiche durata 5 anni, finalmente dovrebbe uscire materiale “nuovo” che era in cantina da tempo.
Cardiacs. La band del compianto Tim Smith pubblicherà un album postumo inedito, sarà il sesto lavoro della band.
“LSD“, così si chiamerà il disco, ha avito una lunga gestazione dovuta alla malattia di Tim Smith; sebbene malato, con il supporto della band e di altri musicisti, Tim riuscì a scrivere tutto l’album e il 1° settembre 2020, per commemorarne la scomparsa, il fratello Jim decise di pubblicare ” Vermin Mangle ” brano estratto dall’album.
Oggi finalmente abbiamo una data, il disco verrà pubblicato ad aprile 2025.
Bruce Springsteen invece uscirà con una ristampa del cinquantennale di “Born to Run”, il cofanetto conterrà anche materiale inedito.
C’è già il titolo e data per il nuovo album di Steven Wilson, si chiamerà “The Overview” ed uscirà il 14 marzo.
I sopravvissuti Beatles pubblicheranno i rispettivi dischi, e Paul McCartney afferma che:
“Do you have any New Year’s resolutions for 2025? Here’s one: finish an album! I’ve been working on a lot of songs, and have had to put it to the side because of the tour. So, I’m hoping to get back into that and finish up a lot of these songs. So, how’s about that? ‘My New Year’s resolution is to finish a new album!’” – Paul McCartney, From paulmccartney.com.
Ringo Starr ha già pronto “Look Up”, album country scritto assieme a T Bone Burnett, sono già disponibili due brani.
Il disco dei Korn uscirà in estate, “Parasomnia” dei Dream Theater uscirà il 7 febbraio, il disco degli Swans si chiamerà “Birthing” e uscirà anche lui in estate, anche Michael Stipe sta finendo il suo disco, dovrebbe uscire a novembre.
Ma la lista è davvero lunga, per cui se volete saperne di più, armatevi di pazienza e mettetevi in cerca di nuove news; nel frattempo ho tirato giù una lista di materiale che, presumibilmente, uscirà quest’anno.
